My Christmas Wishlist {2017}

Less than 2 months until Christmas!!

Yup, I’m 32 and I still make a holiday wishlist. My mom always asks for ideas, so I should really get a list together in like July (haha!), but the beginning of November will have to do this year ;-)

Here are a few items that I am hoping to see in my stocking on Christmas morning…

1. Nike Metcon 3 Amp (White/Gold Metalic, Size 9)

Oh my gosh, aren’t these pretty?! I’ve been eyeing them for a while, I love them!

2. Saucony Type A8 (Red/White/Blue, Size 9.5)

Image result for women's saucony type a8

I saw a post about these on Instagram and have been obsessed ever since. And yes, I know, ANOTHER pair of shoes. Here is the deal. I donated all but 3 pairs of my athletic shoes to Hurricane Irma victims (there were communities close to Naples that lost EVERYTHING) so I’m short on my BODYPUMP and running and chasing after the kiddos shoes. I could probably list TEN pairs that I would like but I’ll stick to just these two right now ;-)

3. Go Lightly Duffel (Black)

I’m at the gym practically every day so my current gym bag has taken a good beating over the past few years. I love bright colors but they show dirt and wear fairly quickly. I’d love this black one to use on my daily gym run!

4. Tervis 24oz Tumbler

I cannot decide on a design for the life of me… a beach design… a Disney design… a floral design…?? I give up! If you get me this, I trust you to pick the right one for me!

5. UPF 50+ Luxletic Weekender Midi Pant (Multi Luminescent)

The gym. Brunch. The park. Happy hour. I could wear there pants everywhere! They’re super cute and totally fit the Naples style. Yup, they’re definitely on my Christmas list!

6. Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex.

Look on the Bright Side

Okay, I confess, I actually already purchased this for myself BUT I know I’ll need a refill in the future so it is still on my list ;-) I have tired mom eyes and I cannot wait to give this new product a try. Fingers crossed it helps me look at least partially awake!

7. New Balance for J. Crew 247 Sneakers (Black, Size 9)

Okay, I know… a third pair of shoes. I am a shoe girl, what can I say?! In all actuality, the J. Crew catalog arrived as I was typing this post and these beauties caught my eye. They’re definitely the “run around town” kinda shoe that I could wear to chase the kids around the park. I need want them!

8. Barrel Top Lazy Susan

Barrel Top Lazy Susan

I’ve wanted a Lazy Susan for a few years now and I am OBSESSED with this barrel top version. I’m not sure if I’d keep it on our table or on our new kitchen island (if we ever get around to remodeling the kitchen post-hurricane – wahhh) – either way, I LOVE IT!

Okay, there it is! I’m sure I’ll edit this post and continue to add things as I think of them ;-)

What is on your wishlist this year?

How are y’all doing? I hope everyone in the line of the mega snowstorm is safe and warm and (hopefully) has a snow day from work tomorrow ;) #snowperks

It was a relaxing weekend here in Naples so I don’t have much to report and only a few photos to share. Dean and I are both so happy that Kyle is back home with us as of Saturday evening! He was in Germany since last weekend for work so I was doing the single mom thing and it was definitely not easy. All you single parents out there are incredible.

I do find it odd/interesting that Dean slept a lot better while Kyle was gone… It probably just coincided with a mental leap/growth spurt but he is not fighting his crib (knock on wood) and sleeping pretty consistently as of the last week. Fingers crossed it lasts!

Now, for the weekend!

I taught 3 Spin classes on Friday so I was D.E.A.D. on Friday evening. I did nothing and was happy LOL.

Dean and I hit up the gym early on Saturday for a HIIT class. Quick and fun! Later that afternoon we headed out to do some shopping. Lulu and a few other fun spots…

… I found a few cute items! When you live in workout gear, it’s okay to fill your closet with it ;)

Sleep dragon during naptime – I need to get a better photo of this outfit, it is adorable with the hood up!

Sunday BODYPUMP after a lazy morning of Trader Joe’s shopping and relaxing. (Kyle was up EARLY thanks to jet lag and that woke Dean up super early… so we had a long morning ;) )

Taco night and family walk to end the day – Perfection.

How was your weekend? Whatcha up to this week?

#63 Treat Yourself Tuesday

Before I jump into this week’s treats, I have to share this video with you. I am the star (hehe!) – I was hanging out at the YMCA post-BODYPUMP demo last week and was asked if I wanted to demo their weekly workout challenge in the gym. I’m never one to turn down a challenge so I took up the offer! I always think it is fun to see fellow bloggers in video so I thought I’d share with y’all… And the workout is a great one to beat treadmill burnout in the winter months. My part begins around the 40 second mark, you can excuse my awkward smile/looks for the first 40 seconds :)

I forgot to share a couple of treats from the past two weeks, so let’s start with those, shall we?

I finally spent my Lulu gift card on a new vest! It’s the Rebel Runner Vest and I LOVE it! It’s supposed to be chilly over the Thanksgiving weekend so I cannot wait to wear it on Turkey Day :)

lulu vest

Secondly, I purchased a new pair of Nike shorts a few weeks ago from Nordstrom’s. I had a gift card there as well plus they were on sale PLUS they match most of my wardrobe so I had to get them!

photo (10)

I treated myself to the next BODYPUMP release over the weekend, 92. I finally tried it out yesterday (yes, barefoot… I don’t recommend that – haha!) and it is going to be a toughie – good luck walking out of those classes without a limp ;)

BP polish

And, can you tell my toes look nice and pretty in the photo? I gave myself a pedicure with my new nail polish and I LOVE it! I’m never buying another brand again. I only had to use one coat and it went on evenly and perfectly.

There was of course the required bagel and Chipotle treats and planning out our Thanksgiving meal. If I get it all done on Thursday, that’ll for sure be a treat!

How did you treat yourself this week? What is your favorite brand of nail polish?

My 2014 Christmas List

It’s that time of year. You  know, the time of year when mom’s start asking you for Christmas ideas. I don’t know about you, but my mom starts asking at the beginning of September! This was not a problem when I was a little girl, I could rattle off 50 things I wanted in about 5 seconds. Nowadays, however, it is a little bit more difficult.

So,  here ya go mama (and anyone else who is feeling generous and wants to send presents to Naples) – My beloved Christmas list! Please and thank you :)

1. Treasure & Bond // Sweater Dress // White // Small or Medium

Sweater Dress

I saw Ashley looking gorgeous in it on Facebook and knew I had to have it. I think it’ll actually be cool enough here in Naples to wear over the winter!

2. lululemon // The Mat // Black

The Mat

I will ask for one of these until I get one. I’ve always wanted a soft and squishy lulu yoga mat and am actually in need of a new one this year!

3. Jawbone // UP24 // Onyx

My FitBit is on the down and out. Plus, the Jawbone looks a bit more fashionable, yes?

4. Beats by Dre // Studio // Champagne

I basically want to be Ms. Lauren Rene Fitness and look super cool at the gym with my Beats on my head, a Spark in one hand and a weight in the other ;) #sparkhead4lyfe

5. Shimano // Bike Shoes // Size 42 // White

Yup, I’m the girl that goes from hating spin to learning to love it in about 4 weeks. My favorite instructor told me that these get you a better workout and my regular tennies don’t fit very well in the shoe holders (or whatever the right word is…).

6. AdvoCare // Spark // Fruit Punch

AdvoCare Spark® Energy

A girl can dream for a lifetime supply, right? ;)

7. Tory Burch // Miller Sandal // Black… and Vintage Vachetta // Size 9.5

Current Image

Current Image

They’re so pretty, I need want them in both colors. There is nothing wrong with that, right?!

8. Target // The Divergent Series

Divergent Series Ultimate Four-Book Box Set: Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant, Four (Hardcover)

I already own and have read book one (Divergent) but I want the remaining three! Once I got into Divergent, I raced through it so these would be very welcome on my {already very full} bookshelf.

9. 12 Massages and 12 Facials

One for each month of the year. That sounds dreamy, right?

10. This House // Port Royal

Naples home

I mean, it’s only $49M. Plus, it is just under 15,000 square feet and with 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms whomever buys this for me could come LIVE with me and I’d probably never know.

What’s on your Christmas list this year? Does anyone want to go halvsies with me on the home in Port Royal?

#46 Treat Yourself Tuesday

Has another week passed?! Seriously, where is the time going? Next week it will be August!

Anyways, I’m here with this week’s installment of Treat Yourself Tuesday. Summer is crazy busy but it’s still important to find the time to treat yourself well. And without further ado, here are my treats from the week!

A summer-themed manicure over lunch on Friday. I don’t remember the last time I treated myself to a manicure… It may have been for Blend?! My nails needed cleaned up and I wanted to make them nice and bright to celebrate summer. If you can’t rock hot pink nails in the summer, when can you??

photo 1 (3)

Sleep… and lots of it! If I don’t get enough sleep, I’m not a nice person… Kyle can attest to this. I didn’t get my post-long run nap after my 12 miles on Saturday (we had to leave immediately after my shower for a wedding) so I crashed around 4pm. My feet hurt, I was tired and I was not super fun on Saturday night. I treated myself to a 2-hour nap once we got home on Sunday and then went to bed right after dinner on Sunday night. Sleep seriously works wonders!

Another pair of Run a Marathon Crop II pants! I love the pair I purchased a few months ago – They’re perfect for my marathon training! The style was on the “we bought too much” page for a super discounted price. Plus, I had a little leftover on my gift card which made the price even more enticing.

Run A Marathon Crop II

Starting to plan for Vegas! Kyle and I are heading to Vegas in just under 3 weeks to celebrate his sister’s 21st birthday! It’s going to be hottttt, but I’m excited for some pool time and shopping time as well as a fun show and fabulous restaurants. Personally, I think planning what outfits I’m going to wear and what I want to do while visiting is half of the fun. I’ve been going through my closet as well as visiting Rent The Runway to figure out what I’m going to wear each night :)

A new tank top for Success School! Katie, Lauren and a few other Advo-friends of mine wanted to match when we visit Texas next weekend (#nerds) – Lauren found super cute tanks on Etsy so we each purchased the purple version! If you need us next weekend, we’ll be the ones in purple ;)

Advocare Get Sparked burnout tank racerback

I think that’s it for the treats this week – Have a great Tuesday and I cannot wait to read about how you treated yourself last week!

How much sleep do you need to be a functional human? 8-9 hours – I know, I’m needy.

What is your favorite manicure color in the summer months? It totally depends on the current trend, but I always love pink!

#38 Treat Yourself Tuesday

Holla for a dolla, it’s Tuesday!

How’s that for an introduction? Yeah… don’t ask. It’s only Tuesday and this week already has me exhausted, haha!

I’m popping in for a quick Treat Yourself Tuesday link-up today and am hoping to have a chance to read all of your treats during my limited free time this week.

As I’m typing this up and thinking of all of the ways I took time to treat myself, the past week feels like it was a whirlwind. Why must winter move so slowly while the summer months fly by?

I’m going to kick this week off with a future-looking treat. As I mentioned on Sunday, Blend is this coming weekend! I’m so pumped and although I’m basically devastated that Ms. Carly won’t be joining us this year, I can’t wait to have a fun weekend away with some of my favorite girls!

Saturday on the beach was a big treat over the weekend. As hard as it is for me to convince myself that it’s okay, it’s nice to just do nothing every so often.

photo 4

A little online lulu accidentally happened on Friday. I mean, it happens when you’re on your iPhone, plus the shorts told me they were so cute that I couldn’t not buy them and then the other items just happened to be in my shopping cart when I hit purchase ;) I don’t have my purchases yet but can’t wait to see them when I get home!

photo 4

I made it to my gym FOUR times last week. That’s a record for me over the past month. With the weather getting nicer, I’ve been running more outside but need to continue to focus on strength training to prevent injury. Plus I pay a bajillion dollars for my membership, so come marathon training (I start next week!), my goal is to make it there at least 3x/week.

Gym Collage

The only other treat I can think of over the last week is the quick mani I treated myself to as my Friday happy hour. Since I’m going to have to wear it until I get back from Blend, I went with a neutral color that hopefully won’t show chips. The color is Don’t Pretzel My Buttons by OPI and it’s a great color if you’re goal is a polished, professional look!

photo 5 (1)

Quick side note, I’m typing some of this post up on my flight from Chicago to Orlando and the flight literally just dipped to the right side… It wasn’t a normal turning tilt either.  I may have had a mini-heart attack. My next treat might be investing in flying therapy sessions. And yes, I’ve checked and they exist – some sessions are even led by actual pilots so they can clarify what happens in the cockpit during a flight. #deepbreaths

#29 Treat Yourself Tuesday

Happy Tuesday!

I had such a great week full of SO many treats… I can’t wait to celebrate treating ourselves today for Treat Yourself Tuesday!

photo 3 (4)

First of all, this past weekend was the biggest treat of all! It was so great to spend time with my friends and show them around my lovely city :)

photo 2 (7)

We all had so much fun – from great eats to salty margaritas to lots of shopping… and now I get to tell y’all what I found this weekend on Michigan Avenue!

Stripe necklace shell

Our first stop was J. Crew – Oh how I love that store! However, I never ever buy anything full price there. They have sales so often, it would be silly to spend extra money on something that will be marked down the following week. I found this top (pictured above) in the final clearance section and scored it for $35! Woohoo!

J. Crew is currently having a 30% off sale online so I’ll probably be adding some of the tops and jewelry I loved this weekend to my shopping cart later today ;)

Our next stop was Lululemon. #duh

photo 2 (9)

We actually made more than one trip to Lululemon… the first time around, I got a scarf (I’ve wanted a lulu scarf FOREVER!), Wunder Unders in black and a black tank. I have the same tank top in pink, black/white stripes (stripes… weird…), and neon green and I LOVE the fit of it so I obviously needed one in black too ;)

photo 5 (6)

And no need to worry… I confirmed that my new lulu crops were not see-through prior to purchasing them ;)

I wore my new scarf over lunch and Katie decided she loved it (I must be a great scarf model ;) ) so we headed back so she could snag one for herself!

BR Top 1

Our final stop (Actually, we also shopped at Nordstrom Rack but I didn’t get anything there – shocker!) was Banana Republic. I haven’t visited this store in AGES but found two cute tops that were on sale! I wore the faux leather tank top (sadly I can’t find the link for this one!) out on Saturday night and I’m so glad I decided to purchase it.

photo 1 (9)

Besides shopping, I treated myself to a few margaritas on Saturday night. In case you were wondering, they were NOT a treat on Sunday morning ;)

photo 4 (6)

I also enjoyed some of Katie’s infamous Chex Mix and my brownies – both are so good and just what I needed before starting my 24DC!

photo 1

To wrap up the weekend, Kyle and I took Mitchell on a long walk in the sunshine. Spending time outside in the spring weather was most definitely a wonderful treat. The sun felt amazing and Mitchell enjoyed some {much-needed} exercise.

Overall, it was a week full of lots of fun and I wish I could repeat it again this coming weekend!

How did you treat yourself this week? What was the last piece you bought at Lululemon (or other fitness store)?

Blends Do Chicago!

This weekend was  SO. MUCH. FUN.

photo 3 (4)

I cannot believe it is already over but I am so happy that I have amazingly wonderful friends (that I met through this little blog!) who make weekends like this absolutely perfect!

photo 3 (5)

Katie, Caroline, and Melanie all arrived in Chicago around noon on Friday. I was so anxious for their flights to land that I stalked their travel paths into the city! I decided to show off my superb Chicago driving skillz and road rage during our drive from the airport to their hotel. Note to any and all future visitors… a cab may be a safer option than me driving ;)

photo 2 (4)

Once everyone was settled into the hotel, we headed to Eataly – AKA a blogger’s paradise. It was around 2pm and we all starving hangry so after wandering around the masses of pasta and wine and restaurants, we decided to eat at Le Verdure – the vegetarian restaurant at Eataly.

photo 1 (4)

There was a bit of a wait so we sipped on a glass of vino (I mean, if you twist my arm… ;) ) while perusing the amazing selection of Italian food.

photo 2 (5)

Caroline and I both ordered the lunch special – an open faced cheese, mushroom, and arugula sandwich with minestrone soup. It was delicious and exactly what we needed to kick off our Chicago weekend!

photo 5 (3)

photo 4 (2)

Another perk of blogger weekends… I am not the only one taking photos of my food! Hehe… Sorry for the photo, Katie ;)

photo 3 (6)

After lunch, Katie and I hit up my favorite nail salon for some much needed pedicures and then stopped by my apartment so I could grab my clothes for the evening! Katie had the privilege (somehow I do not think that’s the correct word… haha!) of meeting the infamous Mitchell. Mitchell was in prime form for her arrival and I’m pretty sure he licked her face for 5 minutes straight…

katie and mitchell

Wine and snacks and girl chat at the hotel took up the rest of the afternoon and then it was time for dinner!

photo 1 (5)

After much contemplation and discussion, I made dinner reservations at Nellcote. I absolutely love this restaurant and am so happy that I was able to share it’s glamorous atmosphere and tasty eats with these girls!

photo 4 (3)

For dinner we shared margarita pizza, roasted brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and potato gnocchi.  Oh, and there was also champagne :) It was all SO good and I most definitely recommend Nellcote to anyone visiting – or living in – Chicago!

photo 5 (4)

The rest of the night involved hanging out at the hotel, more girl talk, and planning our Saturday! I decided to spend the night in my own bed and took this amazing ridiculous elevator selfie to end the night ;)

photo 2 (6)

Saturday morning came bright and early. I met Katie at the hotel and we headed to body pump at my gym! I had a lot of fun showing her around my digs and I loved taking body pump with a friend. #pleasemovehere

photo 1 (6)

I was ridiculously hungry after our workout and didn’t think I was going to make it on my 7-minute walk home… Thankfully, Kyle is amazing and had a bacon-filled quiche waiting for me when I walked in the door. This recipe will be shared soon because it’s just too good to keep to ourselves!

photo 5 (5)

Once I was showered and had a tummy full of food, I met the girls for our Chicago site-seeing day!

photo 3 (8)

First stop was coffee. Priorities!

photo 4 (4)

Then we headed to The Bean for the obligatory bean selfies :) It was PACKED but we still managed to get a few photos of ourselves.

photo 1 (7)

photo 3 (7)

photo 2 (7)

Once we took our fair share of selfies, we walked a few blocks (it seemed like FOREVER because it was super windy and cold!) to a mall where we could do some damage.

photo 1 (8)

Hello Lululemon, Banana Republic, and J. Crew :) I definitely found some great buys (don’t worry Kyle, everything was on sale!) and I will share those with y’all on Tuesday!

Around 1pm, we realized we needed food in a bad way. Since this was Caroline’s first trip to Chicago, she requested Chicago-style pizza for lunch and who am I to deny her cravings?! ;) The wait was LONG (and crowded) at Giordano’s so we found an indoor patio across the street to sip wine and nibble on some bread while waiting for our table.

photo 4 (5)

Once our table was ready, we sprinted across the street and were brought a delicious, deep dish, veggie (no mushrooms, no olives!) pizza that we dove into.

photo 3 (9)

The pizza was incredible but our conversations are what made the meal perfect. I love these girls SO much and am so happy we have such great connections and can share anything and everything! #comebacktome!

After a little more shopping, we headed back to the hotel for wine (theme of the weekend…), snacks, and getting ready for the evening.

photo 1 (9)

Katie’s one request for the weekend was a margarita – I’m so happy my friends are easy to please, pizza and margs! – so on Saturday night, we hit up Mercadito for dinner.

photo 4 (6)

After eating a late lunch and snacking all afternoon, we weren’t super hungry so we split three types of guacamole and chicken tacos. And lots of tequila…

mercadito Collage

Another delicious Chicago meal for the win! After dinner, we grabbed another drink at RM Champagne Salon Bar and I surprisingly didn’t take any photos… I am blaming the tequila… and the beer and the wine. #yikes

This morning came much too early and with a headache but thankfully we had brunch planned! I took Katie, Carly, and Alisha to Little Goat when they visited back in November and knew I wanted to go again this weekend but MUCH earlier so we didn’t have to wait for a table.

photo 4 (7)

We arrived around 8am and were seated right away – Thank goodness because I needed food and I needed it fast! I decided to go with the heavy carb diet for breakfast (Have you heard of it?! ;) ) and ordered fries and a grilled cheese sandwich. It was just what the doctor ordered and I felt SO much better after getting some food into my belly.

photo 5 (7)

We walked back to the hotel after brunch and said our sad goodbyes before parting ways.

photo 1 (10)

The rest of my day was filled with a few naps (they were unfortunately not successful and I didn’t sleep!), laundry, grocery shopping, and a family walk.

I had such a great weekend and CANNOT wait until I cross paths with my pretties once again :) Miss you girls already! xoxo

If you were to visit Chicago, what would be your one request? Before I moved here, I always wanted pizza and shopping :)

What are your favorite pizza toppings? Black olives!

#22 Treat Yourself Tuesday

Happy, happy Tuesday!

I just realized that between the weather making me a shut-in and having a lot of responsibilities on my plate, the only way I remember make time to treat myself is because of this weekly post. Thanks TYT!

I hope you’re remembering to take a few moments out of your busy schedule to take care of the most important thing in your life – YOU!

First things first, lululemon :)

photo 4 (1)

As I mentioned last week, I really wanted this zippie but passed on it while in Madison a few weekends ago. My online shopping habits got the best to me one night and it ended up being purchased. #oops This green beauty is supposed to arrive in the mail today and I can’t wait to try it on when I get home from work!

photo 1 (1)

I really wanted this tank top, I mean – who wouldn’t?! But it was $25 and everyone knows I have more than enough workout clothes for 50 women so I did myself a favor and passed. I’m trying to be better with my money (aka – not buy little things that I don’t need) plus I want to buy these and this when I visit Vegas in August so it’s time to start saving up ;)

photo 3

Another little treat this week (as I just said I wasn’t spending money on little things I didn’t need…) were these knee-high socks for St. Paddy’s Day! They were only $4 and St. Pat’s is HUGE here in Chicago. I’m pumped to celebrate my first green river holiday here in a little over a month.

photo 2

I also purchased some new eye cream. My eyes are SO wrinkly in this dry, cold weather and I’m hoping this will do the trick. I’ll let ya know how I like it :)

photo 4

On a non-shopping note, I treated myself by taking it easy on my knee over the past week. I briefly mentioned it in a previous post but I did something to my right knee. I’m not really sure how I  injured it but it has been hurting after running a few miles and when I go down stairs. Thankfully, I ran 1.5 miles straight last night without pain! I’m still going to take it easy the next few weeks (it’s not like I can run outside anyways!) but it seems like it is healing itself.

photo 3 (1)

Oh, and I can’t forget this wine. Kyle recently told me I don’t do enough wine reviews anymore… I’ll get on that soon but for now, here’s your review, hehe… –> Get it – you won’t be disappointed.

I may have thought it was a good idea to drink a majority of this bottle one night last week. #sorrynotsorry It tasted fabulous plus it was cheap ($10!) and I plan on picking up another bottle on my way through the train station tonight! You know you want to meet me there… ;)

And last but most definitely not least, I’ve been treating myself to dreams of Jamaica :) Get ready for a special TYT – Jamaica edition next Tuesday!

Your turn – How did YOU treat yourself this week?

#21 Treat Yourself Tuesday

Happy, happy Tuesday!

There was lots of treating this week so sit back, relax and enjoy my shopaholic tendencies ;)

Before I get into the shopping, my first “treat” was giving myself two full rest days over the weekend. I realized that I hadn’t taken a rest day in the ENTIRE month of January. My right knee has been hurting and I knew I needed to lay off of it to allow it to rest and heal. Thankfully, after 2 days of rest (minus the miles of walking in Madison), my knee feels a lot better! Resting does a body good :)

Now for the shopping!

photo 3 (1)

First of all, new sandals for Jamaica. I tend to wear my sandals until they have no soles left so I needed some new ones for vacation. I’m not sure if I LOVE these but I am certain that I will be overly excited when I pull them out of my suitcase in 85-degree, Jamaican weather :)

photo 3 (42)

Stitch Fix! I actually wanted to keep more than just this top from my shipment but because of my credit card fiasco, I only had a gift card from my sister to spend. Thankfully, it covered this sweater because I am officially obsessed. It’s fashionable (I love that it can wear it zipped or open!) yet it feels like I’m wearing a sweatshirt. Total win in my book.

I mentioned that I had a bit of a shopping spree at lululemon over the weekend… Well, I wasn’t kidding! I had to return a top that Kyle got me for my birthday (apparently he forgot that “the girls” are a bit bigger than a size small…) plus I had two gift cards to spend. Don’t worry, I spent them all plus more ;)

lululemon Collage

I found a pair of the Run Bandit Track Pants on super sale so I – of course – couldn’t pass them up. They’re crazy comfy BTW!

I also bought two Cool Racerback tanks (they’re going to be great for layering in addition to working out!) and a long-sleeved Run Swiftly top. I really wanted the Nice Asana Jacket in green but they didn’t have my size. It might become my weekly online purchase on Friday night ;)

whole foods Collage

Since I had little interest in watching the Super Bowl, I treated myself to a quiet and relaxing shopping trip to Whole Foods and Target on Sunday night. Since Kyle was at a party with his friends, I picked up a delicious salad from the Whole Foods salad bar for dinner. Ah-maz-ing as usual!

AdvoBar™ Snack

One more purchase rounds up the TYT week for me – Double Chocolate AdvoBars! I have a serious sweet tooth y’all. I’m still trying my hardest at this clean eating thing (it’s a lot harder than I expected – post coming soon!) and these bars help to satisfy my incessant need for chocolate. Plus they have vitamins and minerals along with protein to fill me up.

Tell me, how did you treat yourself this week?
